Embedding a Web Destination in Moodle

 

IMPORTANT: If you have not uploaded a video, follow the Uploading a Video tutorial.

 

  1. From the main interface, click the Web Publishing tab.
    2. Web publishing tab
  2. Click the Info  icon beside the publish status of your video.
  3. An information box will appear at the top of your browser window. Make note of the Web Destination ID.webDestContentID.jpg
  4. Log into your Moodle course and click the Turn editing on button.
  5. Move to the section where you wish to embed the video.Click the Add a resource drop-down menu and select  Ensemble Video.

  6. The Adding a new Ensemble Video screen will open. Enter a name and description for your video.
  7. In the Content Type drop-down box, choose "Playlist".
  8. In the Content ID box, enter the Web Destination ID from Step 3.

  9. Click the Save and display button.
  10. Your playlist should now be visible.
