Android 6.X WiFi QueensuSecure_WPA2 (Queen's Secure Wireless)

Note: Although these instructions are for OS 6.x they may work for other operating systems as well.


  1. From the Android Home Screen
    • Select Apps

  2. From the Apps menu
    • Select Settings

  3. From the Settings menu
    • Select Wi-Fi

  4. On the Wi_Fi screen
    • Make sure the On is turned on
    • From the list of networks select QueensuSecure_WPA2

  5. Important Note:  You must scroll to the top of the configuration screen as it may not display all settings you need to set
    • EAP Method:  Select PEAP
    • Phase-2 Authentication:  MSCHAPV2
    • CA Certificate: (unspecified) or N/A (depends on OS)
    • Identity:  Enter your NetID
    • Scroll down to see all settings

  6. Scroll down to see all settings
    • Anonymous identity:  Leave blank
    • Password:  Enter your NetID password
    • Click Connect

  7. The QueensuSecure_WPA2 network should soon show as Connected
    • Press the Home button and launch a Web Browser.  Your device should now connect
    • Congratulations, you have configured your Android 6.x device for the QueensuSecure_WPA2 network
