Long-Distance Alternatives
Our preferred supplier of long distance is Primus Canada. There are choices available for those who do not choose Primus, but note that many companies are not able to provide service to the university because of our 9+ dialing system. Another alternative is Long Distance Calling Cards which are available from a vending machine in the upper lobby of Victoria Hall and from the desks at Jean Royce Hall and Waldron Tower.

Queen's has teamed up with Primus Canada to provide you with exceptional discounts on your long-distance service. You will find that this service not only saves you money, it is convenient and easy to use. To gain access to our long-distance network, all you need to do is pick up your phone, dial 9, followed by 1 or 011 and the long-distance number that you wish to reach. If you should need to contact Primus Canada for customer service or billing inquiries, they can be reached toll free at 1 888 274 7920 or for service in French call 1 866 292 8807. Or to manage your account online, visit Primus at http://www.primustel.ca  to access your account.

Restrictions: Primus will not provide long-distance service if they do not receive your application form. In situations where your Primus account is past due more than 75 days, Primus will deny long-distance access.
