Under Investigation

 

When the decision is made to move forward in a new direction or with a new service, or to make a significant change or upgrade to an existing service, an investigation process will be undertaken to define requirements and consider various application or infrastructure options. These investigations may take the form of a pilot project.

Identity Manager Need to replace our current (Sun) Identity Management System because Sun was purchased by Oracle. 2011 (Q4)
Webstore Investigate alternative solution to the current Campus Computer Webstore, and possible integration with Point-of-Sale system. 2011 (Q4)

Consider upgrading portal from Liferay v5.2.4 to v6.1, which will create significant changes in user interface and functionality. 2011 (Q4)
Time Tracking Software With the implementation of the Human Resources PeopleSoft application, there is a growing interest across campus in time tracking software and how it might integrate with other University systems. Web TimeSheet by Replicon is software that ITServices currently uses. The Office of the VP (Research) is investigating a broader campus offering.
