Visit by Consul-General of Japan
On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, Queen's University will welcome the Honourable Eiji Yamamoto, Consul-General of Japan and Daisuke Nakamura, Vice-Consul of Japan. This will be a great opportunity to Queen's community to listen to a presentation about relations between Japan and Canada, as well as attend an information session about study opportunities in Japan.
The 30 minutes presentation “Japan in Asia and its Relations with Canada” by Consul-General Yamamoto will start at4:00 PM and will be followed by 15 min. Q & A period. Location: Kingston Hall, Room 104
Representatives of Queen’s and other media may attend and may request brief comments following the presentation
Following the presentation,( 5:00 PM) there will be an Information session about Queen’s academic cooperation with Japan: Opportunities for Queen’s students to study in or about Japan. Location: Kingston Hall, Room 104
