Guidelines for Teaching Assistantships in Linguistics

Students wishing to apply for a Teaching Assistantship in Language and Linguistics should meet the following criteria:

• You should be registered in one of the following Linguistics Concentrations: Major Concentration in Language and Linguistics (MAJ LING), Medial Concentration in Linguistics (MED LING) or Minor Concentration in Linguistics (MIN LING
• You should have completed LING-100 with a final grade of 80 per cent or above.
• You should have completed the course in which you are applying for Teaching Assistantship with a final grade of 80 per cent or above.
• Selection will be based on LING course grades, the number of core LING courses completed, and year of study.
