Library Assistance

Queen's library has a large collection of resources for graduate students. Our departmental liaison librarian, Nathalie Soini, can provide tips for identifying and searching resources in your subject area (reference tools, books, articles, e-journal, etc.), as well as other resources such as RefWorks.

About Nathalie: She is fluent in French, German and Spanish. She has a B.A in German/Spanish from Brock University, a Spanish M.A. from the University of Toronto and a Master's of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario.

Society of Graduate and Professional Students (SGPS)

SGPS defends and expand the rights of graduate and professional students, lobbies the Queen's administration as well as the provincial and federal governments on issues crucial to the well-being and success of graduate and professional students, represents graduate and professional interests and participate in the governance of the University at the Senate, the Board of Trustees, the University Council, and over 40 university committees.

Queen's University Resources for Teaching Assistants

The Centre for Teaching and Learning offers support to graduate students in many forms.

Departmental Workshop for Teaching Fellows and Teaching Assistants 

A departmental workshop for Teaching Assistants is held each year in the week before the beginning of classes in September.

Students holding a Teaching Assistantship/Fellowship in either the fall or the winter term are expected to participate in this workshop.
