Bader International Study Centre (BISC)

Featuring small classes and integrated field studies, the Bader International Study Centre (BISC) offers students the opportunity to earn Queen's credits in an international setting. Courses focus on British, European and International themes, and are open to all students attending Queen's University and students from other post-secondary institutions.  The BISC is located at Herstmonceux Castle in Hailsham, East Sussex in the United Kingdom.

The innovative First Year Program enables a select group of students to spend their entire first year of undergraduate study in Britain. The First-Year Program offers a selection of introductory courses that maximizes access to many popular Arts and Science degree concentrations. Upon completion of their first year, students come to Queen's in Kingston to begin second-year studies and complete their degree programs.

Upper-year students may also opt to spend one or two terms at the castle during any year of study.Upper-year courses offered at the BISC are carefully selected and designed to take advantage of the many exceptional opportunities afforded by the Castle's British and European location. Students can choose to study in the Fall (September-December); Winter (January-April); Summer (May to June-July) terms.

Please visit BISC website for more information on courses, deadlines and more information.
