Queen's-Blyth Worldwide

Queen's-Blyth Worldwide combines the academic excellence of Queen's University and the experiential learning expertise of Blyth Education to create an enriching educational experience that allows students to study overseas and earn Queen's University credits towards their degree program.

3.0 unit courses offered will be taught in 3-week sessions in May and June, while 6.0 unit courses will be offered over 5 weeks starting in May, and are accredited by Queen’s University. Students should expect an average workload of about 40 hours a week, consisting of formal in-class lecture, seminar and/or tutorial components, as well as some time for independent study. Each course will also include one or more course-specific field-study excursions. With class enrolment limited, students receive individual attention. These features contribute to the demanding and enriching academic experience in the program.

Locations for May and June 2013 include: France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Costa Rica, Australia, as well as Bhutan/Nepal, China, India, and Tanzania. Classes are capped at 25 students and the professors live and travel with the students, creating numerous opportunities for informal learning outside of class time.
