Carol-Lynn has taught at the School of Music since 1983 and is the longest-serving member of the Voice Area. In addition to Applied Study, Ms. Reifel teaches a course in Vocal Methods and Techniques which includes pedagogy, and coaches chamber ensembles. She has given many Master Classes and Lectures on the voice, at Queen's and other universities in Ontario and Quebec. As a music festival adjudicator, she is much in demand. Ms. Reifel is also an active performer and has sung throughout Canada with major orchestras; as well, she has been associated with a number of chamber groups, most notably Windsong, a trio of soprano, piano and flute, the members being colleagues at Queen's University. Ms. Reifel has premiered many Canadian works and is a featured artist on the compact disc Twentieth Century Canadian Chamber Music.
