Calendar Description

Ensemble experience for qualified players of wind and percussion instruments.

Course includes weekly rehearsals and a minimum of one concert per term for all students. Credit attained only with regular attendance, active participation, and ample preparation.

NOTE: Placement is made at the discretion of the School of Music, after audition.

[N.B. Exclusion Symphonic Band]

The Queen's University Wind Ensemble (winds, brass & percussion), directed by Dan Tremblay, is open to all members of the University community by audition during the first week of classes. The Wind Ensemble meets twice a week and performs approximately three times a year.

Students participating in this ensemble are financially responsible for the replacement cost of any lost or unreturned music.
