Established by Dr. P. J. Bamji in memory of his mother, Viloo J. Bamji, and awarded to a student in the School of Music on the basis of financial need. The money should preferably, though not necessarily, be used to purchase books for the intended course of study. If there is no suitable candidate, the funds shall be added to the Jal. F. Bamji Memorial Bursary and awarded to a student in the Department of Computing and Information Science.
