Established by Mrs. Sadie-Lu Harley in memory of her mother, Bethia Stewart Hamilton, a graduate of Queen's University and lifelong lover of music. Two awards will be given annually to students on the basis of financial need and outstanding overall achievement, who are in the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Music program: one to a student who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the area of applied music, and a second to a student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the area of composition. Selection will be made in consultation with the School of Music.
