Established through donations of Queen's University Alumni in 1997, marking the 150th anniversary of the death of the great pianist and composer, Fanny Mendelssohn. Awarded to a student in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Music program on the basis of financial need and outstanding overall accomplishment. Selection will be made in consultation with the School of Music.
