Established by family and friends in memory of Graham Newsome, late distinguished amateur organist and music teacher in Montreal. Awarded to a full-time student entering second, third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Music or B.A. (Hons.) Music program on the basis of demonstrated outstanding achievement and financial need. Preference may be given to students who have excelled in the performance and/or study of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Selection will be made in consultation with the School of Music.
