Established by the Telgmann family in memory of Professor Oscar Telgmann and his daughter, Mignon, whose contributions to the development of music in Kingston spanned nearly a century. Awarded on the recommendation of the School of Music to a needy student in the Bachelor of Music program. In the case of equal merit, preference will be given to a student whose major instrument is violin, viola, cello or double bass. Selection will be made in consultation with the School of Music.
