The audition for the B.Mus. program requires candidates to prepare a 15-minute program consisting of two to three works of contrasting style/period that demonstrate their technical skill and musical understanding.
Playing/singing is expected to be at the minimum admission level for the instrument/voice. For candidates who have not participated in the RCM examination series, we provide a list of sample audition repertoire.
Note: Repertoire on these lists is intended only to provide an indication of the required level of playing/singing - candidates do not have to select pieces from the list for the audition. If you have any questions about the suitability of the repertoire you are preparing for the audition, please contact the appropriate Area Coordinator.
