Trumpet

Prepare three contrasting pieces or movements from standard repertoire at a minimum RCM Grade 8 level.

Technique

B major, A minor (harmonic, melodic, and natural), two octaves, and arpeggios, various articulations

Etudes

One etude showing the highest level of technical achievement.

Select two solos contrasting in tempo and style. Possible repertoire:

  • Galliard: Sonata No. 5 (transcribed for bass trombone)
