Discusses central problems and selected issues pertaining to the somatosensory system, to the synthesis of information from multiple modalities (e.g., vision, audition, touch), and to the motor system. Topics will include the anatomy and physiology of the somatosensory system and of intersensory integration, psychophysics, perceptual processes, motor control and planning, and perception and action.
