Campus memorial for Habib Khan

A memorial service for first-year student Habib Khan will be held on Sunday December 12 at 7 pm in Wallace Hall in the JDUC.

“Following discussions with Habib’s father and his friends in residence and on campus, we want to pay tribute to Habib and share memories and stories about his life and his time at Queen’s,” says University Chaplain Brian Yealland, who will officiate.

Habib died December 2 after a fall at Duncan McArthur Hall. Another student, 18-year-old Stephen Nagy, remains in hospital. The police and Coroner’s Office are investigating.

The funeral prayers and burial were held in Brampton on December 5.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Habib's favourite charity, The Citizen's Foundation.
