Heather Ann (nee Smith) Potts was a Queen’s employee in the Faculty of Education for 41 years. Ms Potts retired in January 2010. During her career, she held several positions in the Faculty of Education. Her most recent and longest role was administrative assistant to the associate dean.
Friends of Ms Potts will be received at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home (435 Davis Drive) on Sunday, September 25 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will occur at St. Joseph’s Church (393 Palace Road) on Monday September 26 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. For those wishing, donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation in support of the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Lillian (nee Gilbert) Preston worked for 50 years in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
