Flags lowered in memory of staff member

Flags on campus are lowered and will remained lowered until Wednesday, March 14 in memory of staff member Jim (Wally) Sly.
Mr. Sly joined Queen's in 1991 as a custodian in residences. In 2010 he transferred to Physical Plant Services.
Friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston), on Tuesday, March 13 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 14, at 11 am. Inurnment will follw at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (St. Mary's of the Lake Palliative Care), or Eastern Ontario Bassmasters, in Mr. Sly's memory.
