Have your Spring Reunion event highlighted in official guide
The official program booklet for Spring Reunion events is mailed directly to all registered alumni prior to the weekend. It is also available on campus during reunion weekend and in select locations around Kingston.
“Alumni who return to campus consult the Spring Reunion program booklet to discover the various activities and events that will take place during the weekend celebration,” says Judy Griffiths, Manager, Reunions and Events. “So we encourage faculties, departments or groups to send us their information.
In addition to class and group reunion events, the program booklet contains Queen’s schedule of events, campus information and a map.
All events in the program booklet are also posted on the Spring Reunion on the Run mobile website that will be launched in the coming months. Alumni can use their smart phones to get news and updates, Kingston weather, links to city information, and more.
Queen’s Spring Reunion is May 27-29. More than 50 classes and groups have confirmed activities for the weekend. Many events are planned including Re-convocation and the Tricolour Guard reception and dinner celebrating alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago. A new event this year is Queen’s at the Fort, which will bring together alumni, faculty, staff and their families at Fort Henry for a night of fine-dining, entertainment and a spectacular fireworks finale.
