HR PeopleSoft transition checklist a helpful tool for users


The beginning of the transition to the university’s new HR administrative system is less than a week away. With that in mind, the implementation team has compiled a checklist of items system users should ensure they have in place before the system is opened for use on February 22.

“When a new system of this complexity is launched, there will be several key pieces of information users will want to know and keep handy,” says Julie Mekarski, Director, Client Services. “This list brings many of those items together in one place so that community members can verify that they have the right things in place to use the new system successfully.”

The checklist includes items under three main categories: being prepared to access the system; secure access, training and technical support; and new business processes and forms. Users who can answer “yes” to the questions on the checklist will be better prepared to start using HR PeopleSoft.

In addition to the checklist, additional support information can be found on the HR website under the PeopleSoft tab.
