With the transition to the new HR PeopleSoft system just under a month away, the Human Resources Department has identified several key cutoff dates for entry of student contract, salary requisition and new employee information into the system.

“The more information that is entered into the new system prior to launch, the easier the transition will be for all PeopleSoft users,” says Julie Mekarski, Director, Client Services. “It’s important to remember that these are firm dates. Many of the applications and systems currently used to enter data will be shut down or frozen, so it’s imperative that information is entered prior to these dates.”

The dates are:

February 7: Student contract system entry

February 10: Appointment data sheets and student contract system entry

February 10: Student contract system approvals and hiring new employees

February 10 and February 17: Salary requisition system

Data entered prior to the cutoff dates will be automatically converted to the new system; after these dates, the data will have to be held and entered manually once the new system becomes available.
