March break open house showcases Queen's offerings
Thousands of prospective students will descend on campus for the March break open house this week.
“The open house showcases the best our faculties and departments have to offer and introduces applicants to the Queen’s spirit,” says Andre Deparolis, administrative coordinator, campus tours and special events.
More than 5,000 students and their family members attended the open house over two days last year to gather more information and help them decide if Queen’s fits their post-secondary education goals.
The open house begins at 9:30 am with a welcome ceremony followed by a tour of campus led by current Queen’s students. Prospective students and their families spend the rest of the day attending events hosted by faculties and departments.
“The 200 student volunteers share their experiences studying at Queen’s and the faculty and staff members are always welcoming and friendly,” says Mr. Deparolis.
The open house will be held March 15 and March 16. Registration and itinerary information is posted on the Undergraduate Admission website.
