2010-10-07

Principal Daniel Woolf held a special lunch today at Summerhill to thank all those who have submitted proposals and worked on the Principal’s Innovation Fund.
“We are here to celebrate innovation and I’d like to thank everyone here for taking time out of their busy schedules to give their ideas and energies on how to make Queen’s a better place,” Principal Woolf told the gathering.
The fund was launched in 2009 to seek ideas that will generate revenue or reduce costs. Dozens of ideas have been submitted to the committee on everything from using photovoltaic cells on campus buildings to centralizing advertising purchases.
People can submit their ideas here.
