Prof wins international research award

Daniel Chamberlain, a professor in the department of Spanish and Italian, has won a prestigious international research award.
Professor Chamberlain has been invited to conduct research as part of the Erasmus Mundus Masters Crossways in European Humanities program. The Crossways selection committee receives proposals from around the world and invites outstanding academics from non-European countries to work with research teams at seven universities associated with the program.
Dr. Chamberlain currently directs a research project on oral literature involving both new and well-established scholars from a variety of cultural settings.
