Public forum seeks input for Queen's action on diversity and equity
Queen’s community members are invited to engage in a discussion about this year’s accomplishments on diversity and equity issues at the university. The discussion will begin with an update about progress on initiatives set out in the Diversity and Equity Task Force Action Plan released last spring. There is some good news about what the task force has accomplished, and there are some challenges still ahead. The Diversity and Equity Task Force is interested in your views and ideas about what further actions we can take in the current financial climate and the best way forward from here.
Please join Adnan Husain, Arig Girgrah and Gordon Smith – members of the Diversity and Equity Task Force – at noon on Friday, April 1 in Richardson Hall, Room 340, to participate in the discussion. This meeting is open to all students, faculty, and staff members.
For more information about the task force, the action plan, and Friday’s meeting, visit www.queensu.ca/vpac/det.
