QUFA, university set more dates for conciliation
The Queen’s University Faculty Association (QUFA) and the university have set more dates for talks with a conciliator, as part of ongoing contract negotiations.
The parties have agreed to meet this Friday, July 8 and again on July 21 and 22. The conciliation meetings began last week.
In conciliation, the parties are assisted by a provincially-appointed conciliation officer as they work through outstanding issues.
The university administration respects the collective bargaining process and remains committed to working through it to reach a negotiated settlement.
