Research plan moves ahead
The second of the two-part draft Strategic Research Plan (SRP) was unveiled at a town hall March 15. Participants had an opportunity to share their thoughts and comments following the presentation. Community members can also offer their feedback through the SRP blog.
“We welcome feedback from the broader Queen’s community, and I look forward to comments on the thematic focus, research strengths and emerging priorities,” says Steven Liss Vice-Principal (Research).
Feedback from the community and further consultations with members of the research community will help finalize the plan, which will be presented to Senate for approval in late spring.
Town hall information and the second part of draft plan are posted on the SRP blog. Part one of the draft SRP, “Guiding and Supporting the Research Enterprise,” was presented at a town hall in February.
