Spring move out
Queen’s and the City of Kingston are working together to provide students with the following information and services to help organize their spring move out.
Utilities: Information on finalizing utilities accounts can be found at www.utilitieskingston.com
Garbage: Place up to two bags of garbage at curbside on your usual collection day. Additional bagged garbage will be collected if it is tagged. Garbage tags are $2 each and can be purchased at City Hall, Town Gown Relations@Queen’s or the AMS office. Dispose of unusable large items (like broken desks and torn mattresses) at the Waste Management transfer station at 62 St Remy Place.
Moving Madness Marketplace: On April 30 and May 1 purchase boxes and moving supplies, and drop off non-perishable food items, clothes, un-opened toiletries and ice skates in the Lower Ceilidh of the JDUC. These items will be distributed to campus organizations and local charities.
