Tentative deal for TAs and TFs
2011-05-13
A tentative collective agreement has been reached between the university and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), the union that represents approximately 1,500 graduate teaching assistants and teaching fellows.
The next step in the process is ratification by both sides. Further details about the agreement will be available once ratification is complete. It is anticipated that ratification will occur over the next few weeks.
Negotiations had been underway since November, after the union was certified by the Ontario Labour Relations Board last spring.
