Users test new HR PeopleSoft system
User acceptance testing (UAT) throughout the summer moves human resources staff toward the December implementation of the new HR PeopleSoft system; it is a vital part of the implementation process that allows staff and future users of the system to trial run hundreds of different real-life scenarios.
“UAT helps users verify that they’re able to do their job with the system as we’ve designed it,” says Debbie Radley, QUASR Project Manager, Human Resources. “We’ve done our testing, and this is an opportunity for yet another level of review. We want people to identify if there is anything we can do to improve the system before we go live in December.”
Twelve UAT sessions will take place throughout the summer allowing more than 80 future HR PeopleSoft users to work through a variety of scenarios and provide feedback.
Each session begins with a brief informal training lesson providing opportunities to experiment with PeopleSoft training materials and improve on those materials before formal training begins in the fall.
