On Saturday June 6, a group of Queen’s students and employees will take part in the Chrohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada’s annual Heel’n’Wheel-a-Thon. Participants are asked to walk, bike or skate to raise awareness about inflammatory bowel diseases and provide funds for research into a cure.
A group of researchers from the Gastrointestinal Research Diseases Unit at Kingston General Hospital, along with Queen’s students and staff, will be participating in this event under the name Team GIDRU. To find out more or make a pledge, go to http://www.heelnwheelathon.ca/EN/about/index.html
