Air Canada reveals hip uniforms for new airline Rouge: Queen's University professor

Queen’s University expert in branding and business strategy Ken Wong is available to comment on Air Canada unveiling the flight attendant uniforms for new leisure airline Rouge. The new uniforms include fitted burgundy vests and sweaters and grey trousers topped off with a grey pin-striped fedora hat.

Rouge also announced a partnership with Disney to train and prepare all Rouge’s flight attendants, of which the staff will have to pay a portion of the training.

“The really interesting thing is they're trying to establish a market image of being hip and cool and low-priced,” says Professor Wong, a professor of marketing at Queen's University.

Please note Professor Wong is available after 3:30 pm. Wednesday, May 29.
