Anti-Poverty Legislation
2010-03-19
The Ontario Liberal government has unveiled its long-awaited anti-poverty legislation, which is meeting with both praise for its clear language and ambitious goals and criticism - claiming its goals are untenable and full of loopholes.
Margaret Little, professor of Political Studies and Women’s Studies at Queen’s University, is an anti-poverty activist and academic who can shed light on the legislation and the criticism it has received.
