Apple set to release new iPhone: Queen’s University expert

Queen’s University technology expert Neil Bearse (School of Business) can comment on today’s unveiling of Apple’s latest technology.

Mr. Bearse is an expert in everything Apple.

“Today’s Apple event is without a doubt the most important to date in Tim Cook’s tenure as CEO. Amid increasing pressure from Google and Samsung, he must convince the tech world that the company is still capable of the innovation that we came to expect during the tenure of Steve Jobs; a characteristic that many on Wall Street are beginning to doubt,” says Mr. Bearse. “Of particular importance today is the question of whether Apple can produce a smartphone that is affordable enough to cater to first-time buyers and developing international markets, without sacrificing its cachet as a luxury brand.”

Please note that Mr. Bearse is only available for print and radio interviews.
