China's anti-satellite weapon
2010-03-19
Bruce Gilley, professor of Political Studies with a specialty in the politics of China, can speak to China's recent test of anti-satellite technology.
He suggests that the main significance of this is not a China-U.S. issue, but an Asian security issue.
Dr. Gilley is the author of three university-press books on China and several book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. He holds a Masters degree in economics from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelors degree in international relations from the University of Toronto.
