European leaders' meeting to avoid financial meltdown
Queen’s University economics professor Thor Koeppl and political studies professor Grant Amyot are available to talk about today’s last-ditch meeting in Brussels by European leaders to prevent a financial crisis.
Dr. Amyot specializes in European politics, European Union, political economy and economic policy. He has done numerous media interviews recently on the financial problems in Italy and Greece.
Dr. Koeppl is originally from Germany and spent two years working as a researcher at the European Central Bank before coming to Queen’s in 2004. He is available only for phone interviews only.
