iOS7 released days before North American iPhone launch while UK experiences handset shortages: Queen's University expert

Queen’s University technology expert Neil Bearse (School of Business) can comment on the recent release of Apple software: iOS7. He is also able to comment on the current shortages of the new iPhone in the UK and whether this could be an issue in North America on launch day.

Mr. Bearse is an expert in everything Apple.

“This is an important update for Apple. When Steve Jobs announced the original iPhone, he stated that Apple was five years ahead of their competition,” says Mr. Bearse. “In the last couple of years, it was clear that the head start was quickly expiring. Android has matured into a formidable feature-rich competitor and Microsoft, despite low mobile marketshare, pioneered a sleep, modern interface. iOS7 really feels like the best of both worlds.”

Please note that Mr. Bearse is only available for print and radio interviews.
