NDP MP crosses floor to join Liberals
Queen’s University political studies professor emeritus Ned Franks is available to talk about NDP MP Lise St-Denis who announced today she is crossing the floor to join the Liberal Party.
Dr. Franks is an expert in Parliamentary procedure and can talk about the impact of MPs crossing the floor.
“It’s good news for the Liberals, but overall this won’t change power in Parliament,” said Dr. Franks, noting that Winston Churchill crossed the floor in British Parliament at least twice.
