New Bank of Canada governor to be named: Queen's University expert

Queen’s University economics professor Gregor Smith is available to talk about the new Bank of Canada governor. The announcement is expected to be made after the markets close today.

Dr. Smith is friends with Bank of Canada senior deputy governor Tiff Macklem, who is seen as the front runner for the job. Dr. Smith can comment and provide reaction on whomever is named governor.
