Olympics communication expert

Vincent Mosco
Queen’s sociology professor and Canada Research Chair in Communication, Vincent Mosco is an expert in mass media and the social impact of communication and information. He can provide expert analysis of the social implications of large corporate sponsorship of the Olympics.
Professor Mosco stresses the difference between the fear of terrorism in the world at large and the social harmony embodied by the Olympics. He also underscores the irony of McDonald's and Coke's efforts to commercially link themselves with Olympic athletes.
