Prime Minister Harper visits China: Queen's University professor
Queen’s University School of Business professor David Detomasi is available to comment on Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s visit to China. The trip, featuring 10 Canadian business and academic leaders, is designed to boost political and trade ties with China.
“My guess is that Harper’s agenda will be very much on trade and the economy, particularly energy,” says Dr. Detomasi. “I think he is trying to rebuild bridges with China after some weak moments early on in his tenure.”
Dr. Detomasi’s areas of expertise include international relations, corporate governance, international political economy and international security.
