Provincial election 2014: Queen's University expert

Election day is set for Thursday, June 12 and Queen’s University professor Jonathan Rose is available to discuss and comment on the election results.

“While this election offers distinct choices between the political parties, it's not clear whether this will affect turnout which has been declining precipitously,” says political studies expert Jonathan Rose. “If a minority legislature is chosen, the prospects of a formal coalition may be one way to ensure political stability over the next four years.”

Dr. Rose is an expert in political advertising, political communication and electoral systems.

To arrange an interview, please contact communication officer Anne Craig at 613-533-2877 or anne.craig@queensu.ca or Rosie Hales at 613-533-6000 ext. 77513 or rosie.hales@queensu.ca at Queen’s University News and Media Services Department in Kingston, Ont., Canada.
