Queen’s University computer technology expert David Skillicorn is available to comment today’s announcement that Rogers and CIBC are launching the first “mobile wallets” in Canada. The new technology, available only on Blackberry at this time, will allow users to make payments by simply tapping their phone on a terminal at various merchants across the country.
