Stats Canada report on mixed ethno-cultural couples


Queen’s University professor Audrey Kobayashi is available to discuss the Statistics Canada’s report “A Portrait of Mixed Ethno-Cultural Couples,” which examines the socio-demographic characteristics of couples who are in mixed ethno-cultural unions across the country. The report is being released Tuesday morning.

Professor Kobayashi is an expert on multiculturalism and teaches courses on race and racism, as well as cultural and social geography. She will be reading highlights of the report when it is released at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and then be available to speak to reporters between 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then from 4:30 p.m. onwards.
