Stock market turmoil

2011-08-08

Queen’s University finance professor Sean Cleary is available to discuss the current stock market turmoil.

Dr. Cleary says he is not surprised by the recent downturn in the markets.

“There have been so many clouds hanging over us all this time, between U.S. and Europe. Everybody is a mess. This isn’t shocking because markets have been so nervous for a while,” says Dr. Cleary.

Dr. Cleary has taught numerous School of Business courses on capital markets, investments, and mergers and acquisitions. He has authored and co-written several books, including Introduction to Corporate Finance, Investments: Analysis and Management, and The Canadian Securities Exam Fast Track Study Guide.

Please note Dr. Cleary is only available for phone interviews.
