Veteran Affairs expert

2012-02-24

Queen’s University military and national security expert Christian Leuprecht is available to talk about today’s announcement by federal Minister of Veterans Affairs Steven Blaney regarding the improvement of service for veterans.

“The Harper government is seen as using our military at home and abroad so they also want to be seen as taking care of our veterans as well. Giving the steady pace the Canadian Forces has been operating at over the past 10 years, there are a lot of challenges with the large number of injuries to soldiers that require many years of attention,” said Dr. Leuprecht.
